Just started playing Wandroid 2. This one is definitely more difficult than the first of the Wandroid games. I advise that new players stay close to the exit to gain a few levels before exploring. I still have not found a static encounter spot to level my characters and I am at character level 10. It seems like the best hope for quick leveling in the early game is to poke around level 1 of the map and hope to unlock chests with EXP in them. I have not played around much with the new classes of characters. The bard seems kind of useless so far. Maybe they will become more useful later. I liked the wall texture in the Ordeal from the Mad Overlord better.

...a follow up from my previous comment...I have finally found a place to level up...Murphy's Ghost room returns...but it's down on level 4, so you'll need to get somewhat well equipped just to get there.
ReplyDelete...and, yet ANOTGER follow up...2 days after finding the Murphy's Ghost room I killed the final boss fiend from the main storyline mission. Kinda disappointed because my characters really were not terribly advanced.
ReplyDeleteI did, however, find out that there are stronger monsters than the final fiend roaming the depths of the maze...and you can collect multiple "pearls" from the final fiend and store them in a character which you leave at the entrance to the maze.
